After voluntarily leaving her husband's life under mysterious circumstances, Harper felt like the loneliest person in the world. Trying to change the scenery, she left her usual life and went away from places of painful memories. Having rented a small house from a strange owner in a small town, she tried to recover and spent most of her time in nature. But the change of place of residence did not help her find peace of mind, causing tremendous upheavals. Local residents did not experience much joy from the appearance of a new one. They looked strange and wary, showing no desire or readiness to communicate with the widow. She attributed this attitude to the busyness of ordinary citizens with personal affairs, but soon a part of the truth was revealed that could break Harper's psyche and life. Some uncontrollable force of great power was chasing her, watching all the actions. She did not leave alone in the house and outside the city, threatening at any moment to strike a crushing blow. No one could come to the aid of a hostage of sad circumstances, forced to fight the ghosts of the past on her own and do everything possible to avoid death.
