Mo Fan, a sixteen-year-old guy, tired of the constant boring monotony. The ordinary world of his conscience does not join, he dreams of a magical, unusual space that possibly exists only in dreams. Everything is alien to him here, things are not going very well at school, he lives constantly in need, his family is not rich and the protagonist does not have extra money. At school, Mo has no friends, many classmates do not pay attention to him or even try to despise him for his stiffness and lack of sociability. Once, after a not very successful day, the young man decided to go for a walk in the mountains to retire with his thoughts.
Walking along the rocky slopes, Moe meets a strange elderly man, whom he helps to overcome the difficult climb up the mountain. In gratitude, the old man gives an unusual pendant to the guy who will change his life. Waking up in the morning, the main character realizes that he is in a completely new and unfamiliar world. Here he is also a poor young man, no one loves him, he does not study well. But there is one difference, he does not study at an ordinary school, at an educational institution where they study magic. Of course, he has no talent for magic, but soon everything should change and only for the better.
