Beautiful and so distant 1950s. The story of this film revolves around a young woman and her seven year old son. Having finished one of the toughest chapters in their lives, after a divorce from her despot husband, the girl decides to start life from a new leaf and move away from her old place of residence. Now this deuce will live around a beautiful forest, in the very center where their wonderful house stands. Inside the house, as it turned out, everything is equipped, so no major repairs were required. Having moved from a big bustling city to a quiet nice place, the soul of a young lady seems to blossom and makes her feel safe. But the son is worried. Approaching his mother, Cody, this is the name of the boy, tells his mother that he saw a terrible monster in the depths of the forest. At first, the sweet lady does not believe her child, and in vain. At midnight, from the water carrier, which is located near their lair, a monster crawls out that intends to harm the woman and her little happiness.
