The action-packed thriller revolves around a group of good friends: charming Melody and her younger sister Lila, as well as around Dante and Ruth. The guys are young and ambitious. The heroes of the film decide to go to a small town called Harlow, located in the state of Texas, to breathe new life into it and turn the province into a fashionable place.
They are confident that after some changes and modernization of ancient buildings, the ghost town will turn into a crowded place where young people will begin to flock. But the characters are not even aware of the danger that awaits them in the future.
Arriving at the place, friends are taken to work. Among the numerous buildings, they choose the house of a serial maniac known in these parts, nicknamed "Leatherface". In the past, he staged a real bloody massacre in the city. Among his victims was the young Sally Hardesty, who, by chance, managed to survive. After the tragic events, he disappeared from the field of view of local residents, but as it turned out, not forever. The insane criminal just hid and is now ready to go hunting again.
