In the film adaptation of the cult comic book from the publishing house «Marvel», the plot revolves around Thor, the Norse god, who ended up in the modern United States. In Asgard, in the world of the gods, the thunderer Thor, the son of the supreme god Odin, was the most powerful of the gods, but too arrogant. After the ancient war with the frost giants broke out again through the fault of Thor, Odin decided to teach his son a lesson and sent him to Earth, depriving the divine powers and the hammer Mjolnir, Thor's weapon.
Now God must live among people and know himself anew. He will be able to regain his power by finding Mjolnir, but he will have to overcome his own arrogance. However, with the disappearance of Thor in Asgard, peace does not come: the comrades of the Thunderer begin to suspect his brother Loki, the treacherous god of deceit, of malicious intent, as he tells them that he is indirectly guilty of the expulsion of Thor.
