A good and principled NYPD detective is assigned to find the killers of several police officers. In hot pursuit, it is possible to find the criminals and block them in Manhattan, blocking all bridges connecting the island with the continent. However, the closer the detective gets to catching the killers, the more he becomes convinced of the existence of a massive conspiracy linking his fellow police officers with the criminal empire.
