Tim has not seen his father Harry for many years, who works as a detective in Ryme City, a city where people and Pokémon live peacefully side by side. Tim finds out that his father is missing and goes in search of him in a huge and unfamiliar city. Soon he meets the Pokémon detective Pikachu, whose language he understands in some amazing way. Together they join forces to find Harry.
