The series, released in January 2014, very much delighted the viewer with its first season. At the center of the actions shows the efforts of two detectives from Louisiana trying to solve a brutal murder. All their attempts were unsuccessful, and the case lasted more than 16 years. Only when they faced a similar case, they were able to close a long-lost crime.
This season caused a boom and was awarded excellent reviews.
While the continuation was a complete disappointment. And even the famous cast could not fix the situation. The second part was very much inferior to the first, not receiving more than one television award.
After the release of the third season, the series was able to at least slightly justify its name. This time, the plot changed dramatically and had nothing the same as the first two.
The first part was met with delight, from the experts. The great game of the actors was noted, the dialogues were correctly set. The author managed to create a rather interesting story, in all the famous genre. As a result, having received more than 5 different awards.
Thanks to the cast, the second season received not bad reviews. But still was very much behind the previous one.
The release of the second season very badly damaged the increase of the franchise. Creator Nick Pizzolatto, thought for a very long time about the possibility of continuation, changing the possible plot several times. But this time he convinces us that the series will get a really exciting season. And what is possible, a new well-known cast will be involved. At the same time, he is not going to disclose the details of the upcoming premiere and leaves fans in complete ignorance. We can only guess what, perhaps could be, and waiting for the release on HBO.
There is still no information, when "True Detective Season 4" will be released, and whether it will receive the number 4 at the end of its name.
