Heaven and paradise have entered into a non-aggression pact, but on neutral territory, our Earth, half-breeds are in full charge. They are also bound by certain rules, and those who break them are deported back to hell. John Constantine is an exorcist, it is he who makes sure that the demons return to hellish hell. A man does his hard work out of personal motives, he simply hates otherworldly evil spirits. The hero received the ability to see the true essence of mystical creatures in early childhood. Then the sight of demons hiding behind human faces shocked the boy. John tried to cope with the horror that he hid from others, but his nerves could not stand it: the guy committed suicide. The doctors managed to bring the hero back, but he was dead for several minutes. Minutes that stretched for him into eternity, the hero spent in hell, where every suicide goes. Later, John again felt the approach of death. Smoking one and a half packs of cigarettes daily, the hero developed cancer at a fairly early age. He knows for sure: hell awaits him beyond the line, because for the highest court he is still a suicide, a great sinner. And in hell, the hero is waiting for more than a warm welcome by the demons exiled there. Satan himself is ready to be distracted from his affairs and appear for his soul. On the verge of death, John decides on a good cause. He helps Detective Angela find out the circumstances behind the death of her twin sister. the heroes manage to find out about the plans of the son of the devil to break into our world with the help of the half-blood angel Gabrielle. John manages to stop the demon only with the help of self-sacrifice. The hero again commits suicide, and surrenders the plans of Mammon to Satan, who has come for his soul.
