After the death of her spouse, Edith Pretty organizes an archaeological excavation on her property, where the woman suggests ancient treasures are hidden. For the search, she turns to the archaeologist Basil Brownau for help, and soon they are joined by a young student Peggy Preston, who is eager to take part in the search for jewelry.
