The film is set in the 1960s in Knockerstiff, Ohio. The head of the family has a terminally ill wife. He is ready to make any sacrifices to save her. And suddenly his own son comes to his aid, who from an ordinary modest schoolboy quickly becomes a brave man, ready to fight back any troubles from outside.
