An elderly man arrives in Harpers Ferry, where his daughter went on a hike along the Appalachian Trail six weeks ago with friends and has since disappeared. Despite local warnings, the guys turned off the tourist route and soon encountered a community of people who had founded a settlement here even before the Civil War. And who do not like strangers very much.
