Searching (2018)

David Kim is single-handedly raising his teenage daughter, Margot. After the death of his wife, he pays the girl maximum attention and provides her with everything she needs. She is the most precious thing in his life and for her sake he is ready for anything. One day David cannot get in touch with Margot. She does not pick up the phone and does not answer SMS, and in the evening it turns out that she was not at school during the day. The man realizes that she is missing and turns to the police for help. He begins searching all over California and the girl is reported missing on all news channels. David is trying to find out at least some useful information using his daughter's laptop. Having hacked the device, he very quickly realizes that he knows absolutely nothing about his child.
