The Crown Season 5

Events begin in 1947. Britain, together with its allies, defeated fascism, the country is gradually moving to a peaceful pace of life, and in Buckingham Palace they are preparing for the wedding of the young Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Four years later, King George VI dies and soon his daughter is to ascend the throne. Political intrigues, in which Prime Minister W. Churchill plays an important role, tightly enmeshed the residence of the British rulers. The new queen will have to learn to defend her opinion, make decisions on which the future of the country depends, and deftly maneuver among palace scandals. However, it is difficult to proudly wear the British crown when there is no support from family and loved ones.
