The film takes place on a planet colonized by earthlings, on which all women died due to the action of an unknown virus. Those who remain can now recognize each other in the form of a stream of images, words and sounds, which is called Noise. Because of this, personal private secrets cannot be kept. The hero of the film discovers a place of silence where this Noise is absent, and then discovers people who can generate such silence around him. This prompts him to start a struggle against a totalitarian society.
